The International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) has announced the theme for this year’s World Pharmacists Day as “Pharmacy: Always trusted for your health”

As essential members of the health care team, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are trusted by patients and their colleagues for their extensive knowledge in medication management, improving the quality of life of their patients and their communities.

For the past few years, PSF Canada has worked to improve access to essential medications and pharmaceutical services by participating in many humanitarian missions across the globe. By partnering with local health establishments and organizations, local health care professionals become equipped with the necessary skills to provide proper care to their own communities. These partners continue to trust PSF Canada to improve health globally.

In this time of uncertainty, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s theme resonates even stronger with us. While our travels have been halted, we have continued to collaborate with local partners to develop virtual missions and further our support for their training.
